Course Specifics

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, you will:

• understand the importance of effective classroom management, and know what it looks and sounds like
• review a validated tool for assessing classroom management, and conduct the assessment on yourself (or in partnership with a trusted colleague)
• identify at least one area for improvement in your own classroom management, and learn specific strategies for improvement
• formulate and implement an action plan for improvement

Estimated Course Length: 2 hours

Professional Learning Units (PLUs): 2

• The certificate of completion is embedded in the last section of the course. It will unlock when you have finished the course.
• Please download and save or print the certificate when you complete the course. You will need to date the certificate with your date of completion and it is your responsibility to submit this documentation for professional learning units.
