Using Data

Data is the GPS of the MTSS  framework. It lets us know where we are, and helps us better figure out where we want to be and how to get there. The MTSS teams at both the district and the school levels are charged with reviewing data regularly to guide decision-making and problem solving. Teams should review both student outcome data as well as implementation data, which includes checks for fidelity. Read more about what makes each type of data important.
